Becoming an Alliance

In the Fall of 2022, the HVPMA Board poured their hearts and souls into creating a new alliance to accurately depict who we are as a group and who we want to be moving forward. We’re excited to unveil our refreshed Houston Veterinary Practice Managers Alliance!

Our name and logo may have changed, but our core beliefs and commitment to bettering the profession remain the same. These updates show the evolution of our group since its founding in 2009. We were motivated to change things up for several reasons, one of which is increasing our membership and improving the enrollment process. We have also put in the time, effort and money to re-form as a 501(c)6 non-profit, which is suited to our needs as a business alliance. In simple terms, 501(c6) organizations are formed to serve their members, unlike 501(c) organizations that serve the public in general.

Some things will remain the same, like our continued commitment to you, our members, by providing quality and relevant resources. Some things will change like nominations/general elections for Board positions and transparent annual reports shared with members.

As you notice shifts in our branding, we would certainly love to connect with you. Feel free to reach out with any thoughts, requests, concerns or compliments. We are here to serve you.

As always, we would like to thank our loyal members and business partners for your trust and friendship throughout the years. We’re excited about the new alliance and hope you are too!
